We spent a pleasant afternoon cruising the Marne on this boat with a past so well recounted by its owners.
Thanks again to Solenn and Patrice for their warm welcome and kindness. They took great care of us.
We particularly appreciated the addition to our tour itinerary and the table service.
Aperitifs, charcuterie and cheese boards, a real treat.
We'd do it again. It's a pleasure to spend time with people who are passionate about what they do. We wish Spicy a long life! We hope to see you soon.

A very pleasant and attentive couple, happy to share their beautiful adventure and their passion. A very pleasant stay aboard a well-equipped patrol boat, just a stone's throw from downtown Meaux. Peaceful cruising on the Marne, lulled to sleep by the purr of the engine, accompanied by a superb charcuterie and cheese platter.
A unique experience to recommend.
Thanks to Solenn and Patrice

Very pleasant time spent on the water, with a tasting of excellent products and a very pleasant welcome throughout. The explanation of the boat's history was very interesting, and the piloting part was an unforgettable experience. An experience not to be missed!

What an unforgettable moment, aboard Spicy with my friends and son to celebrate my birthday (4 people). Superb views over the water, with peace and quiet guaranteed without having to share this unusual adventure with a horde of tourists. The accompanying plancha lunch was delicious, and we were able to sample, among other things, charcuterie and cheeses from the Fromagerie du Brie et d'ailleurs in Meaux. We appreciated the very warm welcome from Solenn and Patrice. I highly recommend this unique experience.

On this 18-08-2023 , 4 of us boarded the Spicy for a ride and a meal around a plank of local produce.

We liked :
the kindness of Solenn and Patrice
the perfect choice of all the products on our copious platter (including drinks)
The serenity and calm distilled by this rare moment (to be recommended to non-mass tourism aficionados).
The luxury of this small-scale experience, with face-to-face exchanges with our hosts (no microphones or recorded vocal performances).
Patrice took turns at the helm, answering all our questions as neophytes.

We didn't like it:
We're still looking.

We highly recommend this experience for a small group of 4 and wish Solenn and Patrice all the best for the future.

Unusual weekend aboard the spicy... very good stay with all comforts, comfortable and good weather to boot. Top-notch welcome and explanations by Solenn and Patrice. The proximity of the city center made it easy to stroll and visit. Dinner on the terrace, with the lights reflecting off the water, was superb. The night was perfect and the breakfast on the terrace will leave us with good memories. We finished with a walk on Meaux beach and the Great War museum. We'll be back.

Thank you again for this wonderful boat trip on the Marne. It was an unforgettable experience for me, and I enjoyed every moment of it. The welcome, the tour of the boat, the technical details, the birds on the banks, my laborious learning to "pilot" the "Spicy"... and above all the kindness of the boat's owners.
Thank you again for this moment, and I hope to be able to do a nice little trip like this again very soon.

End of April 2023
Departure from Poissy for the delivery and running-in of the 2023 season on the Spicy. Average weather, rain and sun. Great atmosphere. Everyone on board is clearly enjoying the sailing. Passage of the first Seine lock and subsequent locks without a hitch. The Spicy's new owners had prepared the route and stops superbly. The meals and snacks delighted the taste buds, and the drinks were just right for the weather. Warm when it rained and thirst-quenching when it was hot. After an overnight stay at the Van Gogh port in Anières and a good breakfast, we set off for Paris in mixed weather. Friends joined us on board. The magic happens right away. Magnificent bridges, buildings, quays and the cathedral of Notre Dame, which even when wounded, moves us as we pass. Then we enter the Marne. Another meal is shared at the first pontoon before the lock. Here, the captain pulls out all the stops: charcuterie platter, cheeses, crudités, desserts. All accompanied by fine French wines. Yum, a great moment of sharing. We then resumed navigation on the Marne. We passed through locks and a tunnel to arrive at Joinville le Pont, where the harbourmaster had reserved a superb place for us to share. After a friendly drink, the Friends who had boarded at Asnière left the boat with their eyes filled with marvels and unforgettable memories. And I, the former captain of the Spicy, take the TGV back to new landscapes... Proud of the crew who will keep this magnificent old boat alive. Merciiiii....
